Description

Manuka Honey UMF(R)16+ 8.8oz/250g, UMF Lic Nr. 2238, Trial Size

This is our smallest size of manuka honey. It’s about a two week supply.  Honey has been revered and consumed for thousands of years. Ancient cultures used honey for consumption as a food, as a natural sweetener in drinks and food, as well as a salve for skin blemishes.

Not all honey has the same benefits. Dr. Peter Molan of the Waikato University in New Zealand, has spent over two and a half decades, researching manuka honey from New Zealand, and has found benefits that are unique to this honey. Manuka Honey is collected from the wild, uncultivated Tea Tree Bush in New Zealand, called leptospermum scoparium. The manuka bush has small leaves. The flowers look like apple blossoms, ranging in color from white to pink.

Manuka Honey UMF®16+ UMF Lic Nr 2238, is best described as a smooth, creamy, caramel-like taste, very pleasant to the pallet.

I was introduced to manuka honey by a friend of mine when dealing with a MRSA staph infection. I’ve been to the doctor a number of times, and tried a variety of antibiotics, however nothing completely eliminated my infection, this honey did the trick, I’m definitely a believer now, and can recommend it to anyone dealing with a similar situation as mine…

Over the years we have used manuka honey to prevent colds and treat colds and flu, most recently it resolved an infection my husband got from a horrible cut in the woods. I opened the jar and put a glob of honey in the wound 3 times daily, within several days, the infection cleared and the doctor was amazed. I keep jars of the honey for medicinal uses, along with adding it to teas or just a spoonful as a preventative.

Thank you for sharing your story with our readers. So happy to hear that manuka honey took care of your husband’s bad cut/infection he received while working in the woods. Many doctors have been surprised during the past 24+ year that we have been making this honey available in the US. We have seen the nastiest wounds not only recover, but also rebuilding new skin, to the point that skin grafting was no longer needed, as manuka honey took care of rebuilding new skin as well. Let keep spreading the word about this unique honey and help others. Thank you!

I have been using Manuka honey for about a year now and it tastes so much better and far more superior than ordinary honey. Not only that but I know it’s good for my immune system and that of my families. I also use Manuka honey in natural remedies that I make for my son and I to prevent illness.

I was playing with my dog and she got excited and her tooth caught me on the wrist and pulled up a flap of skin. After several days the bite showed no improvement and seemed to be getting redder. I have a jar of Manuka Honey that I keep on hand but had not used for medical problems. I remember that it is supposed to be good with helping cut and scrapes so I wondered if it would help on my dog bite. I covered the bite with a small amount of Manuka honey, wrapped a bandaid snugly round it and two days later I removed the bandaid and the redness was gone and the flap of skin had already adhered to the surrounding skin. It is healed now and I have to look closely to find it. I am a believer.

Hello Judy – Thank you for sharing your great story. This is valuable information for other dog and pet owners, as well as for anyone working with animals at a veterinary office. Manuka Honey is also used at horse stables, in Zoo’s across the US, and aquariums…
