Direction for use:
Brush your teeth after every meal or at least twice a day, in the morning when you get up and before retiring for the day. Place 1/2 inch of Oral Fresh Natural Toothgel on your tooth brush (use a soft toothbrush, in order not to ‘over-brush’ your teeth, over-brushing your teeth can lead to bleeding of the gum), and start brushing your along the gum line in a circular motion. Brush along the gum line and the inside and outside of the tooth in a circular motion, removing food bits as you go along.
In the evening, after brushing your teeth, you must floss your teeth once a day, at night, in order to help prevent gingivitis (gum disease)! When you floss your teeth, you must carefully slide the floss into the gum line and remove all excess food bits. When you floss correctly, you will also increase circulation to help maintain healthy gums. Severe gingivitis can lead to loosening of a tooth and tooth loss.
Most of us ‘hate’ flossing our teeth, but here are some really good reasons why you should do it anyway. When you brush your teeth, you only touch 3 surfaces of the tooth, the top surface, the outside and inside surface of the tooth. Your toothbrush can not reach in between your teeth to effectively remove little foot bits that get stuck in between your teeth. If you do not floss daily, what will happen, is that these food bits will cause bacteria to grow and cause a build up in plaque which can lead to gingivitis if left untreated. Good nutrition, daily dental care and daily flossing are essential to help prevent gingivitis. Once you get used to flossing your teeth, it can be done effectively in a very short time period.
Dentists recommend having your teeth cleaned professionally every 6 months. The dental hygienist will remove tough plaque. Plaque is a build up of bacteria under the gum line. If left untreated, plaque will eventually cause loosening of the teeth and tooth loss all together. Plaque can not be removed by a toothbrush, it is much harder, and needs the attention of a professional dental hygienist.
