Manuka Honey Products For Skin Care
Whether you actually know what it is or not, you have more than likely heard of tea tree oil. While I would not go as far as to call this a miracle product, I think most people that introduce this product into their skincare routines will find that it does make a difference. While Australians have used this for a variety of conditions and treatments, it is still a relatively new product here in the United States, all things considered.
All I will tell you is that the grounds where this oil is harvested are referring to as the “healing grounds.” Here are a few skincare hacks to try, then you decide if it works or not.
Facial Cleanse – some of the natural properties of tea tree oil make it the perfect cleanser for your skin, especially your face. Tea tree oil is touted as having natural antibacterial properties, so it is often recommended not only as a general cleanser but more specifically for people with skin conditions such as acne.
Shaving – both men and women can benefit from using tea tree oil products when they shave, especially for the bikini line, where women often suffer from razor burn, which usually leads to those unsightly bumps. When shaving, a tea tree oil soap can be used as both the lathering agent as well as to clean the area again after shaving.
Shampoo Products – products with tea tree oil can be very effective at cleaning the scalp, especially for dandruff sufferers. Using both a shampoo and condition with tea tree oil can deep clean the scalp, ending that annoying irritation once and for all.
Dry, Itchy Skin – if you suffer from flaky skin or have skin that never seems to be able to be moisturized no matter how much product you use, consider adding tea tree oil to your daily skincare routine. This can be done several different ways. You should not apply the tea tree oil directly to your skin without a carrier product. So, if you have dry skin, add a few drops of tea tree oil to the moisturizing lotion you use after a shower. If you like to take baths, add a few drops to the water and after a few days, you should notice a difference. You can use a carrier oil, such as coconut oil, if you prefer as a sort of homemade moisturizer.
